Fatai Rufai
Fatai is a Director at Peers Consulting Limited (Peers). He was formerly in charge of Practice Development (Head of Research & Development Team of the firm). He is now the Director of Finance. Fatai was a Principal Consultant at Delloite & Touche (DTC) Consulting, West Africa, before floating Peers Consulting Limited with other professionals from DTC in 1996. He is a key member of our Information Technology (IT) Services Unit. He received a first class degree in Computer Science combined with Economics from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in Nigeria in 1987 and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from University of Lagos in 1999. He has over twenty six years of experience in Consulting.
Fatai has performed several systems related functions including Systems Analysis, Systems Development, Systems Implementation, System Integration and Project Management. Fatai is also an ERP, Human Resources and Payroll expert. He was the team leader of software developers that developed MAMBILLA Human Resources, Payroll and Employee Self Service System, a web-based application. Fatai was actively involved in major projects in Nigeria and across the West Africa Sub-Region. He attended both local and international training on Software Development and Implementation.
He started his IT career with Technology & Systems, a division of SCOA Nigeria, as a Programmer in 1988. He later joined Data Processing & Maintenance Service (DPMS) Limited, the IBM authorized dealer in Nigeria, as a System Analyst in 1990. He is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and Computer Professional of Nigeria (CPN).
